Where in Colorado should I move? Q. I'd like to move from Austin, TX to some city in Colorado to escape this Texas heat, humidity, and bad allergies. I'm looking for a place that is more scenic, has more trees, perhaps mountains, is cooler- wouldn't mind snow!- is dryer and has cleaner air quality. But I don't want to be literally up in the mountains because I hate windy roads. Would like a medium size city or smaller community with access to a larger metro area. Any recommendations based on personal experience or travel? Asked by Juanita S - Sun Jun 28 18:32:16 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. You would probably not be happy in Boulder, although it is a college town like Austin. I have been to both places by the way. I am a Colorado native. You would probably like Colorado Springs if you are a pretty conservative person. Good access to Denver. Castle Rock is between CSprings and Denver. It is nice. Air is cleaner there than in Denver. Fort Collins north of Denver is also nice, but you will get those windy roads coming south into Denver. Those are the best places to be if you want to beat the heat but stay out of the mountains. Good luck. Answered by Fastermaster - Sun Jun 28 20:31:15 2009 what is the spanish meaning for San Marino?
