Q. Recommendation for Gallery s for Selling Antiques and Antiquities? I m looking for a reputable gallery to sell my mother-in-law s antiques and antiquities. She has a wide collection of pieces including statues and sculptures of marble, bisque, gold, and bronze from all over the world. Once piece is from between 300 and 400 B.C. and it s marble in very good condition. Also, she has a Greek vase from the third century in extremely good condition and it tells a story through the designs. She also has furniture, Asian art, an ivory handle real samurai sword, ect. She s looking to sell most of her collection. We re working with one gallery in NY and have been waiting two years to sell some pieces without even a nibble; I think we re getting… [cont.]

A. Ohh I'm so jealous. :) I went there summer of 2007, unforgettable. You have to visit The Louvre, The Arc, The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Moulin Rouge, all the basics of course. The neighborhood of Montmartre is beautiful and so much to see, including the Sacre Coeur. It's full of little shops, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, art galleries, etc. Our little hotel was in this neighborhood and it's very charming.
